Christopher A. Flowers was born in Tennessee but raised in Bluefield, Virginia. In 2009 he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bluefield College. Christopher earned his J.D. from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in May, 2012 and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in November of that year.
WORK HISTORY
Chris began his practice with the Lynch Charles Law Group in Atlanta, Georgia, a firm specializing in divorce and entertainment law. He also worked with Leighton B. Deming, Jr., P.C. in Cumming, Georgia and Cotton Law Firm, P.C. in Cordele, Georgia, representing clients in a wide array of civil matters. Chris joined L. Clayton Smith, Jr., P.C. in June of 2015. That firm became Smith & Flowers Law, P.C. in 2016.
EXPERIENCE
Chris has represented clients in a wide array of civil matters including; Divorce, Custody and Child Support, Business Creation, Business Litigation, Automobile Dealership Fraud, Wills and Probate, and Entertainment Contracts and Transactions. Chris focuses his practice in the area of family law, representing clients in divorce, custody and child support modifications and legitimations.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Chris is a member of the Exchange Club of Albany and the Dougherty County Republican Party. Both he and his wife, Kayla, are active members of Sherwood Baptist Church.
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
Chris is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Georgia and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyer’s Division Family Law Committee as well as the Dougherty Circuit Bar Association.
PERSONAL
When not in the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and their three cats as well as teaching Sunday school and coaching youth baseball and basketball.
